Umm.. well, I know, I didn’t write anything in June. So spank me. 

We have a new car – yippee! I was so desperate to get out last month, I actually used a bus. Yes, me on public transport, amazing eh? Won’t be doing it often, because you wouldn’t believe how expensive it is now. Last time I used a bus, it was 70p – now it’s £1.20! Bloody disgusting. I’ll get myself a taxi in future – not that much more, takes you exactly where you need to go, and doesn’t leave you reeking of diesel fumes when you arrive.

Anyhoo, the car. It’s a fiesta. Not something I would typically go for, but we got it for half price. £500 instead of £995. The nice dealer, you see, had this other cheap fiesta that was about to fail it’s MOT. We paid him to put it through the MOT, but it failed miserably. He felt so bad about it, he offered us the sweet deal on this one. Couldn’t say no, and it’s actually quite a nice little car.

In other news, we had a nasty creditor threaten us with bankruptcy for a £3000 debt that’s likely stature barred. I won’t go into detail, because I’ve fretted over it all month and I just don’t want to think about it anymore. We’re currently waiting for a response from them after requesting account information. I will update when there’s news.

P got his PC last month. Bit of a palava, as they quoted the wrong price for a CPU upgrade and there was a delay in sending while we sorted it out. Also, the graphics card it came with is absolute shite. We had to spend another £100 upgrading to something decent. Well, at least he’s got a nice machine now.

I setup a livejournal account today. Mainly because a lot of friends over at PG.Net have one, and they only allow friends to view their entries. A lot of them don’t allow comments from non-members either, which is understandable – I know first hand the joys of spam in my comments.

Gonna have a shot at making a wordpress template, I think. Never did feel comfortable using someone else’s layouts….
