The last month or so has been quiet. I’ve quit my job. Why? Couldn’t be arsed anymore frankly. I wasn’t going anywhere and they were expecting me to do more and more with less thanks. P had two weeks holiday booked early November, so we got the chance to spend more time together. Didn’t exactly get much done though.

Well, Christmas is fast approaching (again) and I’m stuck with the joyous task of buying presents on a limited income. Yes, it’s my fault for leaving work, but believe me you probably would have done the same. I really didn’t fancy the stress that a working festive season causes either. P is working every day over the holiday, but it’s good money and he’s happy doing it so I don’t mind.

Haven’t been socialising much. At all, even. Good for my finances and non-smoking habit though, hehe. Been building a new forum for oddball fishkeepers. It seems to be growing quickly which is great. Gonna be needing some mods soon, there’s a daunting task.

I’ve had a half-hearted attempt to re-do the layout here at DC. Hasn’t changed much has it? I got disillusioned (and a bit bored) halfway through. My creativity seems to have gone AWOL lately.

Oh, I came off that contraceptive pill. Seemed fine at first, but then I started feeling sick every day when I got up. No, I’m not pregnant.

Oh well, gonna do some surfing. Limited attention span these days. In case I don’t write again in time, happy Xmas to you all. 🙂
