Time has flown by, I didn’t realise I hadn’t blogged since Friday!

We haven’t got the car fixed, so P’s been harassing fellow work colleagues to give him lifts, lol. Rather annoyingly, the guy we’re getting the Renault 5 off decided to tell us that the head gasket needs changing and will cost us an extra £50 or so. Plus, he doesn’t know if that’s the only problem so there might be more work. It’s looking less and less like a good deal! God only knows where we’re gonna get a dirt cheap car from by Friday though.

Work is going well. Found out I’ll be earning more money than I thought – £80 per week, instead of £50. I know it doesn’t sound a great deal, but when you consider I only work 16hrs a week, that’s not bad. In total, I’ll be taking home about £320 a month which will pay our mortgage and our secured loan.

I got a £30 advance on my pay this morning. That will be soooo useful. We’ve got hardly anything left to eat and as for snacks snickers, I wish! P got another £10 advance yesterday and we went to Sainsbury’s to get some essentials (bread, milk etc). At this rate, it seems like P won’t be getting any money on Friday cause we’ve borrowed it all in advance, lol!
