Work today seemed to go so slowly! I had four choccie bars at lunchtime and must have been on a sugar high, because I was incredibly restless and unable to concentrate on my job!

Tomorrow, I’m going shopping with Nadine and her friend Milly. We’ll spend the day leisurely browsing stores and sitting in the pub getting a bit tipsy. Then in the evening, we’re off to a sixties nightclub to wind down. I just hope P doesn’t dislocate his knee getting ready like last time we planned a night out!

The chicks are fully feathered and starting to wean. The oldest two are helping themselves to food now and gosh, can they fly!

We also checked out this new DIY/housewares store called The Range acoss the road and it was brilliant. They sell an amazing range of products, including loads of interesting (and cheap) bird toys! I can see some wonderful Xmas gift ideas there.

I got a letter from my CPN this morning. She was writing to say she was dropping me off her caseload as I haven’t responded to her phone calls or letters. The cheek! I have had one message left on my answerphone in the last 6 months asking me to call her during working hours. Guess what? I’m working then – that’s why they’re called “working hours”. I can’t expect my boss to let me go making personal calls like that at work. Some people are so stupid! Well screw the NHS and their lousy service! I can survive on my own!
