Just a quick blog while waiting for dinner to cook. God, I’m starving, can you hear my stomach rumbling over there?
Now is it just me, or has the internet community been really quiet this past weekend? I’ve had hardly any activity on PFN which is really odd. Me and P have been making games for both the sites – he’s done two fantastic Flash customisations of Tetris. Do head over and have a peek, they really took a lot of work. I added a little wordsearch and a mahjongg game to PFN.
My neighbours have been acting up again. Not really badly, but they’re just so damn vocal. I got woken up on Saturday by two of them having a major row. I couldn’t make out exactly what was being said (apart from “her” saying the F-word on several ocassions), but “he” was giving her a right ticking off and eventually she burst into tears. Not that he stopped laying into her after that. Cue slamming of the bedroom door and what sounded like an elephant storming off down the stairs. I was annoyed at being woken up, but at least it was amusing.
Then this morning there was a whole bunch of them nattering in the street. I don’t know what the actual language they’re using is, but it sounds eastern European. Lots of slamming of car doors and multiple goodbyes and finally, peace at last.
P finished his holiday yesterday and he’s back at work tonight. It’s gonna feel a bit strange sleeping by myself again…..
