P is at work right now, and I’ve just spent the last couple of hours reading through the blog. I’ve really been through a lot, don’t you agree? I think I’m (psychologically) so much happier than I was this time a year or two ago. I don’t get panicky about P going to work anymore – a bit lonely perhaps, but no more hyperventilating and crying etc. I’m sure he’s pleased about that.
I think my biggest concern right now is my laziness. I am a dreadful procrastinator and I think I’m worse now than ever. Plus, I do want to find some part-time work. We’re managing reasonably well financially, but it would be nice to have a little extra. I reckon I’ve saved a small fortune not buying cigarettes though – haven’t had one since last April, go me!!
Well, I’m sure something will come along soon enough. Until then, I don’t have to worry about not getting enough sleep, having enough time in the day to do what I want to do etc. Oh, I almost forgot, I got a tax rebate a few days ago. Only £80, but every little helps (now I sound like a Tesco’s ad).
P has some holiday coming up just after payday. There’s a few things we need to get done in his time off. Repair the aviary (again), nip to Cockfield bird Farm, clean out the filtration on all the fishtanks, do some general housekeeping, blah-de-blah. We’re both very busy on the web with our sites and general networking of the social variety. Busy bees we are!
I really wanted one of those new video iPods for Christmas, but P couldn’t stretch the budget. So I’m sorta hoping to get one this month. Trouble is, we’ve also been debating getting a new parrot friend for Egg, and Cockfield have a Sun conure that’s been there for months. Poor little thing, nobody wants her because she shreiks all the time. hehe… That’s conures for ya.
