Back to work again, this time in Chelmsford. We’ve been learning how to use the computer system and it seems pretty simple.
I have to say, I’m not particularly fond of the Chelmsford call centre. It’s quite large, but has a lot of staff and seems far less cosy than any of the branches in our network. They also have different ways if using the system which is causing a touch of confusion. Not to worry, we’ll squeeze through it.
I forgot to mention that on Friday we got our first rota for next week. We’re only doing two short shifts as they don’t have enough spare call handlers to train all eight of us, lol. I should be taking my first live calls then and I’m feeling both very nervous and excited at the prospect of finally doing the job.
Well, better get some sleep before another long day in Chelmsford.
