I forgot to blog yesterday. Still got the congested nose and still coughing for England. I’m due in at work at 6pm – I hope I don’t have to go on the phones.
Yesterday I played the Enter The Matrix game. It passed the lonely hours while P was at work. Better than crawling under the covers and sniffling away.
We were due to take dad to the doctor’s today, but guess what, he refused to go. Not feeling up to it apparantly. Perhaps one day I’ll be lucky and he’ll realise that’s why you see the doctor in the first place. Unlikely though.
On a good note, we got paid today! This was the first month in ages that we’ve actually survived until payday without being hideously overdrawn. Yay us! I also figured out that if I get the hours I want over Xmas, I’ll be earning over £1000 for doing just six shifts! That’ll be a welcome post-xmas present.
