I decided to sell my minidisc deck today ’cause we’re so short on cash. It took an hour to find the damn remote control and another hour or so to find the instruction manual. P got the box down from the loft and we packed it up all ready to go when, suddenly, my ex-boss showed up and shoved an envelope through the letterbox. I waited ’til he’d gone and then hurriedly opened it. P guessed there would be about £10, maybe £20 in there, so we were both stunned to find £40. It’s not my full wages, but it’s certainly more than I expected. Not that I’m gonna thank the bastard.
So we went into town anyway and I bought P the latest Harry Potter book. I’m still going to sell my minidisc deck, but I’ll stick an ad in the paper rather than get bugger-all for it at Cash Converters.
I’ve decided to add a mood thingy to my blogs. Just so you all know what to expect.
