Look at this! I’m up before 2pm! Wow! This no doubt has to do with the fact that P isn’t at work today, though.
I’ve had a stinking cold for the last few days, and it seems P has caught it too. Poor baby. He’s also got a nasty skin infection on his forehead which has made his eyelid swell up. The doctor gave him some antibiotics on Monday, but he’s got another appointment this morning because it’s worrying him. The doctor also said he is slightly depressed and suffering from panic attacks. He’s been prescribed SSRIs, but I don’t want him to take them because regardless of what anyone says, they are addictive.
I was due to go to college on Saturday, but I didn’t feel well. I tried ringing them but there was no answer. Turns out, the tutorial had been postponed due to bad weather, but no one had actually told me. Lucky I didn’t travel the 30 miles, eh! It’s been re-booked for this weekend instead, but if I still feel crap I’ll have to skip it.
Still no luck on the job front. Haven’t heard from D for a few days, so I assume there’s no news there, although I might go and see her this afternoon.
I’ve been on tag-board quite a bit lately. Angelust is taking a few days off thanks to some nasty people who’ve been giving her abuse. I’ve had a couple of run-ins with some idiots myself. All comes with the job I guess.
On a final note, I’d just like to extend my sympathies to the families of the seven astronauts who lost their lives on Monday. The Americans really haven’t been blessed with too much luck over the last few months, have they? Here’s hoping they get some better times soon.

Just thought I’d give you an update on P’s mystery condition. It seems he has shingles, which is a type of chickenpox. The doctor was concerned because it is near his eye and if he experiences any pain in the eye he has to go to hospital immediately as it can cause blindness. Nasty stuff, but we’ve hopefully caught it in time. Although it isn’t contagious, he’s having the rest of the week off work.
