Went to visit dad today. He’s looking a lot better, thank God. He’s hardly had any whiskey since I last saw him and he’s eating decent food. Tomorrow I’m gonna get his pension for him and sort out his kitchen – it’s in a terrible state.
He’s also decided that he can’t look after his three cats very well and wants us to find new homes for them. Unfortunately, it’s kitten time of year and it could be quite difficult to find them a new home. I’d have them myself, but I’m not sure they’d settle in with our seven. Plus one of his cats is a siamese who needs to stay indoors.
Well, I’ll have a chat with P about it all later and see what he thinks. Tonight is just for chilling and relaxation.
We’re still penniless, thanks to P’s ex-employer forgetting to pay his final wages. That won’t come through until Friday now, blah. Dad lent us £20 to get through the week. I must owe him a small fortune now.
So, tomorrow’s gonna be a busy day. We’ve got to go to the bank and have a chat to them about why no money’s been going in lately. The ATM ate my card the other day – I was only checking the balance. At some point I shall probably visit D, depending on if she calls me tonight or not. Would like to see her though. hint, hint if you’re reading 😉
