Just a short blog as I’m not feeling too well today. Woke up with a sore throat this morning which has now progressed to a full-blown cold. I’m hoping it’s a 24hr bug, especially as I’m going shopping at Lakeside tomorrow.
Apologies to anyone who’s submitted to DCA and not been added yet – it’s been a busy week. I worked Friday, partly for the extra cash and partly ’cause I had Monday afternoon off. We did our xmas food shopping late Friday night, so for once we’re a little bit organised.
I got a £20 “gift” from work which was nice, and P got a £50 bonus. Together with the £50 from P’s granny and £40 from my mum, we’re doing well with the money this year. I should have about £100 to spend tomorrow!
Considering the generosity of our boss in terms of money, he’s actually quite a scrooge. P heard him telling someone off for singing a xmas song. Apparantly he said “Christmas begins and ends on the 25th”.
What a miserable xmas his family must have!
