It’s Sunday and the weekend has zipped past as usual. I put the small fibre optic tree up in the living room. I’d like to put our huge seven-footer up, but the birds might chew the lights cable and do themselves an injury. Ah, the joys of being a parrot keeper. 🙂
At the moment, I’m trying (unsuccessfully) to keep Rosie the galah off the top of the kakariki cage. We had the babies out earlier and they are still growing incredibly fast. Three of them are pretty much fledged and can actually fly quite well. I have to say the baby of the bunch is my favourite. He’s the most friendly of the lot and loves to cuddle up to your neck. 🙂
