Blogtime! Didn’t get up til 2pm today. I’ve spent the last few hours adding submitted stuff to the site, so everything should be up to date now.
Yesterday we went to lunch at Pat’s pub. It wasn’t as good as last year, there was less variety in terms of food and I got rather tipsy on one bottle of Archers. It felt really odd not going to work until 12:30pm (I said I was going to the hospital with P) and I didn’t feel very comfortable with my workmates. I don’t know if I’m just being paranoid, but I’m sure something funny is going on.
Pat had a discusson with me about which temps will be going back after Christmas. I’m on the list, as is Cena (unfortunately) and Nadine. At least there’ll be someone I get on with there. There’s supposed to be some organisational shake-ups after Xmas, so if it doesn’t look like I’ll be getting a permanant job there I’ll seriously start looking for something else. I don’t wanna be a temp forever.
I’m worried about my course as well. I just don’t seem to have the time to get the assignments done, it’s especially worrying as my first properly assessed one is due in at the end of December. What a crazy time of year to do something so important. Couldn’t they have made it January instead? Plus I still haven’t paid the initial course fees ’cause I’ve got too much to buy for pressies and stuff.
Tomorrow, I’m gonna visit mum. I would have gone today, but there’s a footie match and I won’t be able to park in my street when I get home. I hate football and I can’t believe how much I have to organise my life around it!
Grrrr….. I cannot wait until Christmas holiday.
