Just a quick blog before midnight! Still depressed being at work – I really hate the feeling of dread in the morning. It doesn’t help that I’ve still been feeling a bit under the weather. Sometimes I feel like I want to be physically sick. God only knows if it’s just stress causing this.
P had another hospital appointment at 11am today. He decided to drive there, but the car battery had died. So we rang the hospital to tell them we would be a bit late and they said the consultant’s last booking was at 11:20. Great. So we rush off to Halfords (which fortunately is only at the end of our street), bought a new battery costing £40 (I had to carry it home and it was bloody heavy!), turned up at the hospital at 11:40, only to find out that they were running 2 hours behind schedule! We were finally seen at 1pm! Grrrr!
There was some good news today though. P had another look inside the nestbox, and it turns out we have TWO baby kakarikis. Oh, they’re so tiny and cute and covered in grey down!
