It’s Friday again! No, I’m not at work ’cause I still feel kinda crap. I’ve been helping P put some finishing touches to his new website and it’s looking good. The site is NOT complete, but if you feel compelled to visit and leave some comments on the tag-board then please do.
Well then, here’s the Friday Five:
How many TVs do you have in your home?
Two – one nice 28″ Sony widescreen and an LG TV/video combi in the bedroom.
On average, how much TV do you watch in a week?
Depends entirely on how much I use the PC. 🙂 Sometimes it’s on every minute I’m home, and sometimes it barely gets switched on at all.
Do you feel that television is bad for young children?
Well it depends on what they watch really. A good parent should regulate what their children watch and make sure they dont see anything unsuitable. So I guess, no, TV generally isn’t bad for kids, they just shouldn’t be able to watch the adult stuff.
What TV shows do you absolutely HAVE to watch, and if you miss them, you’re heartbroken?
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Casualty. that’s about it really.
If you had the power to create your own television network, what would your line-up look like?
Wow, where would I start! Lots of sci-fi, no adverts, science documentaries, something along the lines of Big Brother. Hmmm….Can’t think what else right now.
I have some sad news. Loki, our male red-fronted kakariki, has died. We hadn’t seen him for some time and assumed he was in the nestbox helping to sit on the eggs. We checked this evening, though, and he was just lying in the box. Phillip reckons he may have been there for several days. There were no wounds or obvious signs of death, so we’ve no idea how it happened. Poor beautiful Loki. I don’t even have a photograph of him. *cries*
On a happier note, we’ve now confirmed that there is a chick in the nestbox. Mum seems to be looking after him well and he’s about twice the size of the egg, from what I can see. I shall name him Loki, in honour of his father.
