College & Friday Five

So I’ve missed a couple of days – oops! And I forgot to do the Friday Five as well. Not to worry, I’ll do it today.

Frankly, I was in a bit of a bad mood yesterday. There’s this guy at work who’s a bit of an arsehole – not directly, but he’s just kinda arrogant and selfish without realising it. The trouble is, these sort of people really upset me sometimes, and he just gets on my wick a bit too often. He doesn’t actually work in our dept, but on the occasions he does, he has no thought for what others are doing and will nick our best staff, any equipment he wants etc, etc. I was supposed to be working with this girl (who is one of the few temps that does a good job) and he decided he was going to have her working with him. The fact he fancies the pants off her has nothing to do with it, I’m sure ) *sarcastic*

Anyway, I spent enough of yesterday cursing about him in my head that I really don’t want to talk about it anymore. I was so upset that I actually decided that I was going to quit. I still don’t know if I can put up with it anymore, but I don’t have anywhere else to go.

Enough worrying and moaning – it’s the weekend. I went to college this morning for a practical. It was quite good fun actually. We had to do an experiment to observe respiration in peas and me and my partner kept breaking our boiling tube trying to stuff a bung inside it! For some reason, I was exhausted and fell asleep shortly after I got home. I only woke up at 8pm!

Well then, here’s that Friday Five I promised you:

If you could only choose 1 cd to ever listen to again, what would it be?
Oh my, I have such varied tastes. I tend to compile my own music onto minidisc, so I’d probably do as many of my fave tracks as poss on a long play disc. 🙂

If you could only choose 2 movies to watch ever again, what would they be?
Ummm….Titanic and The Matrix. That’s a tough decision.

If you could only choose 3 books to read ever again, what would they be?
Arggghhh! I rarely read books more than once. Possibly something like “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe”. There’s also an excellent piece of vampire fiction by Freda Warrington called “A Taste of Blood Wine” which I’ve read twice now. Honestly can’t think of a third yet.

If you could only choose 4 things to eat or drink ever again, what would they be?
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups! Yummmmmmm! Sainsbury’s Tart Au Citron. McDonalds! And to swallow it down, a cold glass of Baileys!

If you could only choose 5 people to ever be/talk/associate/whatever with ever again, who would they be?
Haha! I don’t know that many people. OK, P, my dad, my mum, my best friend D and her fiance J.

That was a lengthy one today!
