Hey! Long time, no blog! Sorry folks, but I’m back now!!
I’ve hardly been on the PC this week for several reasons: a) it’s Christmas, b)I’ve had a stinking cold, and c) two of our computers went wrong hence no net access for a few days. Grrr….
So you all wanna know what I got for Xmas? No, of course you don’t, but I’m gonna tell you anyway. 🙂 First off, me and P got loads of money between us. I like being given money. P bought me lots of books that I wanted from my wishlist and a spiffy new digital camera. Hopefully he won’t burn this one. 🙂 I also got a variety of cow-themed items, my favourite being a savings-bank.
D and J bought me a cute teapot & teacup set and a ladies watch,and P got a gothic candlestick holder in the shape of a skeleton and a calendar. His sister gave me a backpack and a huge bar of chocolate. Everyone else gave us money.
I bought P a Lord of the Rings Collectors Box Set with these interesting-looking bookends, an extra 256mb RAM for his PC, a couple of books and some random gadgets that I got in Lakeside on Monday. Yep, even though I felt crap, I still went shopping that day!
I went to see dad on Christmas day. He seemed OK, but mentioned that he’d had a mild stroke a few weeks back. He never tells me these things. Fortunately, he has regular visits from one of his neighbours and they look after him.
Most of this week I’ve been in bed. Yesterday I didn’t get up until half past four! It’s my holiday! I’ll stay in bed as much as I like! 🙂 I must make more of an effort to get stuff done though, I don’t want to waste the time.
P’s hard drive went tits-up yesterday. There’s an expense we didn’t need. Off to PC World we went this afternoon and picked up a “refurbished” one. 80GB for only £70 wasn’t too bad, now he has to spend all evening formatting and installing Windows on the darn thing.
I think I’d better start updating the DCA listing and adding more survey results now. The emails are coming in quite fast. I’m also going to be adding a shop this weekend. Now you’ll be able to buy Depressed Cow merchandise!!
