Time to catch up on the old blog…..haven’t had much of a chance to use the PC last couple of days. It was dad’s birthday on Thursday so we went round and spent a while with him and yesterday I had a bad headache so I went to bed early.
Work isn’t so bad now, although I’m not used to lifting heavy boxes anymore (my upper arms are sore!). I felt a bit pissed off yesterday lunchtime, when everyone went out to the pub and didn’t bother to invite me and P. So I kinda had a go at one of the guys when they got back and then ended up apologising when I realised I was being a tad irrational. Turns out, he was taking a couple of the staff out for a thank-you drink for all the overtime they’d done lately and everyone who knew just followed. But, everything’s fine now so never mind.
Of course, the great news is that it’s the weekend! I’ve been thinking about modifying the site, but I’m not sure how yet. My introduction pack came through from the college, along with my first assignment. Now I’m just waiting for the course folder to arrive and I can get started. First step to going up in the world! 🙂
