Just a quick blog….
What an interesting week. I’ve been back at work although not on the phones and training a new girl called Claire. Funnily enough, she used to go to art college with P and her husband went to school with him. And she used to work for the same company that me and P used to work for. Small world, huh?
P has lost his job – his department needed to make cutbacks and he was chosen because he was overqualified and too ambitious. So now we’re really strapped for cash. Tomorrow we need to go round all the agencies in town and hope that something comes along.
Finally restored my PC but I appear to have a dodgy hard drive. Every once in a while the drive light will come on and it will crash the whole PC. Scandisk never finds anything.
BritBoard is getting quite a few visitors now. I’ve made several new friends already and it’s really something I enjoy.
I think I’m going to go to bed now as I am absolutely shattered.
