Morning all,
Finally dragged myself out of bed after nearly nine hours sleep. – didn’t get under the sheets until 3am. And as for dinner, well, I had that at midnight.
Onto the laborious task of designing theblog.co.uk
Phew! theblog is now up and running although there aren’t any entries as yet. I had to paste my template into all eight pages which took a good half an hour. Now I can have a rest.
Got a phone call from John (old friend) wanting me to copy the contents of his hard-disk onto a new one for him. He needs this doing today or tomorrow, ’cause the old one’s being sold on Tuesday. Not too hard a job, but could be time-consuming.
Not sure what I’m going to do this evening. Designing for the website is slowing down as there is less and less to do. I’d like to get some content at theBlog and get some promotion going. Fortunately, thanks to Blogger, I can do pretty much all of this at work.
It’s dark outside and I still haven’t gone to see dad. I might have to leave it until tomorrow although I’ve lots to do then as well.
We need to do a bit of shopping as well – catfood and milk and such. Unfortunately, thanks to “Sunday trading laws”, all the shops are closed and we’re going to have to pay double the price from a 24hr garage. Our own fault really, lazy buggers.
I think I should go out now as I can’t think of anything else to do.
Didn’t go to see dad after all – he’s got a cold and that’s something I don’t fancy catching. I’ll go and see him on Tuesday as we’re going round John’s tomorrow.
Finally went out at about 20:30 and got some bits and bobs from the garage. Namely cakes and chocolate. Better stop writing now as I feel grumpy.
